Childhood Cancer International Day
On the occasion of the International Childhood Cancer Day, Yousif &Aysha Almoayyed Charity committee, part of Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), organized a visit to the children’s cancer unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex, to provide moral support and to bring joy to the hearts of the children diagnosed with cancer.
The visit was held on 16 February 2015, as part of Edmaj program of YKA employees, which gives opportunity to the employees to volunteer and participate in charity work. A group of employees from Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons visited the cancer unit to meet the children and presented them with gifts. The parents of the children expressed their gratitude to this gesture initiated by Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons.
Zahra Hamza, Coordinator at Yousif &Aysha Almoayyed Charity, along with Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons employees, Afrah Al Sunni, Fatima Abdulrahman, Nashmita and Jawad Turaifi were part of the visit and were welcomed by Amal Mohammed, Head of Nurses of Children’s Cancer unit, at Salmaniya Medical Complex.
