Support to Children Cancer

The Charity made a donation of BD20,000 to the Department of Pathology at the Salmaniya Medical Complex Hospital. Said amount was used to purchase a state of the art BD Flow Cytometer Machine. The BD Flow, which provides a laser based biophysical technology for cell counting and sorting needed in the early detection of cancer cells, constitutes a big leap in the diagnosis of leukemia and the follow up treatment for adults and children with cancer, said Dr. Abdulrahman Ebrahim Fakhro, President of the Bahrain Cancer Society.
